TITLE:

To the '60s Which Never Gone

PROJECT TYPE:

Editing / Cinematography

YEAR:

2022

INTRO:

The 1960s were the golden age of dough figurines in Taiwan, but today this traditional craft is gradually fading into memory. Developed for the Cannes Young Lions "Force for Good" competition, this project explores the intersection of childhood nostalgia and cultural preservation.

My team and I chose dough figurines to represent the resilience of traditional arts. By bringing this initiative into schools, we documented how the next generation is reimagining this ancient skill. The project serves as a bridge between past and future, highlighting the vital efforts of young artisans to ensure that these cultural treasures continue to evolve rather than disappear.
