As a designer for CoMotion 2025—SCAD’s premier student-led motion graphics conference—I contributed to a unified visual system that connects emerging talent with top-tier industry studios. My role focused on translating the annual theme into a cohesive professional experience, from developing style frames for the main title sequence to designing and animating dynamic Instagram grids. Additionally, I extended the brand identity into physical touchpoints through official merchandise, ensuring a seamless and engaging presence across all digital and environmental platforms.

We used black and white to design multiple versions, with some shots having over 20 variations.

Finally, after discussions with the directors, we rebuilt all the designs in After Effects, made adjustments to color and details, and then handed over the entire AE file to the animators.

With a total of 40 members in the branding team and 8 in the design team, efficient integration and management are crucial. To optimize our workflow, we utilize a variety of platforms, including Figma, Discord, Notion, Miro, Milanote, and Frame.
